How are you sleeping?

Are these health foods?
a. Muffins. There have been times in my life when I would walk into a muffin shop and look at the cabinet for the “healthy breakfast” of a muffin and cup of decaf. Are muffins usually good food? A little bran, that's good. A little fruit, that's good. Maybe part of an egg. No problem there. Mostly refined pastry flour, Oleo or butter, sugar, umm more like cake – if it was shaped different. Calories? 400-650, 13-27 grams of fat or more! High quality protein? Virtually none.

Are Children with pesticide exposure in utero at risk for high blood pressure, neurological problems, and behavioral problems?
From the Journal of Pediatrics May 2006, 79 children in Ecuador were examined for reaction time, dexterity, copying ability, intelligence testing and physical exam. By interview the mothers were questioned as to a history of pesticide exposure during pregnancy. Blood and urine tests were done to also as confirmation.
Results showed that in exposed pregnant moms:
1. 31 of the 79 children were stunted in height growth.
2. Exposed children compared to controls had statistically significant higher blood pressure, higher chance of neurological abnormalities, slower reaction times, and lower copying score.
CONCLUSION: PRENATAL PESTICIDE EXPOSURE MAY CAUSE LASTING NEUROTOXIC DAMAGE.
The pesticides in this study are similar or the same as used in common lawn treatments, house pest control, and those used on produce.
They are carcinogenic and neurotoxic and damage the fetus.
They must be avoided.
