The Path to Optimum Health
Definition of Optimum Health: A person whose body is in excellent condition, with plentiful energy and freedom from pain. It should be able to deal with routine environmental stressors without breaking down, and should be able to recover quickly after physical insults. It should allow a person trouble free performance so that he can enjoy the maximum lifespan of his genetic endowment. Health is not a static state. It is determined by the influence of one's daily lifestyle choices on a person's inherited strengths and weaknesses. Each person has their own optimum for their body. It is an individual condition that can be measured by objective and subjective indicators.

There were no more weapons violations, and no suicides, expulsions, dropouts, or drug violations. The new diet and improved behavior has lasted for seven years, and now other schools are changing their meal programs with similar results.

Now a study has just been published that shows that Vitamin B12 protects the brain from shrinking and reduces the risk of Alzheimer's. People with higher blood levels were six time less likely to have brain shrinkage than people with lower levels according to results published in the journal Neurology.
