Greetings,
This week there was an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association concerning lead. This toxic mineral is still a big problem for all of us. From birth defects, to cancer, to chronic fatigue, to lowered IQ, to attention deficit and many other conditions. We also look at a chemical toxin in processed meats that may increase cancer risk. Lastly, there is a miracle herb that is part of Healthy Thin that has some nice effects on helping people to have healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Have a good week!

Lead is a known killer
Lead is a known killer. A killer of brain cells and of IQ. In last weeks Journal of the American Medical Association an article discussed children who were diagnosed with high lead levels but who were never followed up. The earlier this toxicity is diagnosed, the earlier it can be treated. The longer it is allowed to persist, the more damage occurs. This prompted me to discuss it since lead does not respect geographic or economic barriers.

Do you have hypertension?
50 million Americans do. More than 60% of hypertension sufferers do not have the disease under control, which means they have an increased risk of stroke, heart attack, diabetes, and kidney failure. Would you like more information so you can understand why you have it and what you can do to handle it without resorting to drug therapies? A new book written by Dr. Mark Houston MD, Head of Hypertension Research at Vanderbilt University has written a very good book called What your Doctor may not tell you about Hypertension . Dr. Houston discusses the nutritional solutions that can normalize a person's blood pressure without resorting to prescription drugs. The book can be ordered through Amazon or from your local book store chain.
Can Healthy-Thin improve cholesterol and triglyceride health?
Healthy-Thin has an ingredient in it that we haven't talked about much, but its health effects should be known. The ingredient is McB E60. This is a hybridized herb from Ecuador and through many generations of working with this plant the current form was evolved by our research scientists. In a recent controlled study of ten diabetic patients, taking McB E60, they had cholesterol reduction of an average of 12.5% and triglyceride reduction by an average of 24% over a 30 day period. This effect of helping to moderate cholesterol and triglyceride levels toward healthy levels, along with improved blood sugar regulation means improved health for overweight patients. Healthy Thin also contains two natural appetite suppressants, two natural inhibitors of carbohydrate absorption, and two natural herbs to help rid the body of excess water and toxins shed from burning up the body fat. It's a winner. To order or get more information go to www.Healthy-Thin.com Order Healthy-Thin ...»
Are nitrosamines part of your diet?
If you eat breakfast sausage, hot dogs, bacon, bologna, picnic ham and other luncheon meats, they are! These nitrosamines come about when you eat sodium nitrite. Sodium nitrite is a chemical additive used to give these meats a "healthy" reddish color so they don't look the pale gray they are in their normal state. Sodium nitrite is also a preservative.
