Some 1st grader proverb wisdom you'll enjoy:
A first grade teacher with twenty-five students in her class presented each child with the first half of a well known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of that proverb. It's hard to believe these were actually done by first graders. Their insight may surprise you. Each child was asked to write answers for each of the 25 half-proverbs and the winning answers, as judged by the teacher, are presented below. While reading these keep in mind that these are 6-year-old-first-graders. The last one is a doozy!
