| Dear Readers
Greetings! The days are getting longer. Though it's only February, the hint
of spring is just around the corner . I can feel it. There's
are lot of interesting discoveries in this issue. I hope you enjoy it. All health
information needs a critical eye. The more research I do each week, the more
I am dismayed at the media's use of half truths to create a story,
and not tell a truth. Beware! Who profits from what is said and why are they
saying it? - Enjoy the week and please share the newsletter with your friends.

Do birth control pills make you fat?
Rest assured, the article says that birth control pills don't make you fat -
even though many women say they do. Who is wrong? Women? Not. But getting fat
is not the real risk for birth control pills. These pills are synthetic drugs
that mimic estrogen and progesterone in the female body to create a pseudo pregnant
state. The dangers include blood clots and female cancers. Unwanted children
are not good either, but there are other ways to practice contraception without
putting your future health at risk.
