This Is Your Brain on Meth: A 'Forest Fire' of Damage
Millions of children are given methamphetamines every day in the form of Ritalin and other drugs. In my opinion this is a crime against these children. If you read this New York Times article about the brain damaging effects of methamphetamines by habitual users, you will agree.
The results of methamphetamines by habitual users would in effect be what occurs with children who are put on these drugs at young ages for many years. Get the image of the title: "A Forest Fire of Damage" to the brain. Brain cells are destroyed by this drug. This drug also causes brain shrinkage and memory loss. The author, from the UCLA School of Medicine, and writing in the Journal of Neuroscience from a documented MRI study, says, "We expected some brain changes but didn't expect so much tissue to be destroyed."
You don't have to let your children or friend's children be put on drugs. You have rights. You can speak out and refuse. Once the brain damage is done, it is not reversible. Don't let them drug your kids.
