Why household insecticides can harm your health.
A new study published in The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, as shown that use of insecticides in the home or garden increases the risk of childhood leukemia. When pregnant mothers are exposed to home insecticides her offspring have almost twice the risk of acute leukemia than those who were not. Children who were exposed to garden insecticides and fungicides also had double the risk of acute childhood leukemia. Very significantly, children who'd been exposed to insecticidal shampoos for treatment of lice, also had double the risk of acute leukemia.
Therefore, pregnant women and children (and everyone else too) should be carefully shielded from exposure to home and garden insecticides and herbicides. In these studies, the higher and earlier the exposure, the greater the risk of developing disease.
Since pesticides and insecticide spraying is commonplace in many public areas, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings, it is logical that all of us have had some degree of exposure to these toxic and carcinogenic substances. For that reason, I think it is very important that a personal detoxification program be utilized by everyone. For my family I have recommended the following:
1. BodyHealth Complete + Detox two tablets twice daily. This important product supports the body’s natural detoxification systems. When the body is lacking in these nutritional factors it is more likely to accumulate toxins and suffer from their effects.
2. Body Detox 1-8 sprays at bedtime. This product helps in the excretion of toxic compounds, and supports immune and gastrointestinal function.
3. BioBuilde five tablets daily. Detoxification requires certain essential amino acids, which are present in BioBuilde.
4. BodyHealth Intestinal Cleanse for those people who are not having one to two easy bowel movements per day.
5. Daily sauna use.
6. Organic food.
7. Avoidance of all insecticides and pesticides in the home and garden and removal of shoes when coming into the house.
8. If you have pets, wiping their feet when they come in from the outside to prevent them bringing insecticide coated dust into your home environment. While this program is no guarantee that you will not be exposed to any insecticides or herbicides, it will help to reduce your overall exposure and to help your body’s natural detoxification systems to maintain your health. As you can see from the studies above, these chemicals are dangerous characters and we must do all we can to protect ourselves from their harm.
