Lose Weight in a Natural, Healthy Way

Are these health foods?

a. Muffins. There have been times in my life when I would walk into a muffin shop and look at the cabinet for the “healthy breakfast” of a muffin and cup of decaf. Are muffins usually good food? A little bran, that’s good. A little fruit, that’s good. Maybe part of an egg. No problem there. Mostly refined pastry flour, Oleo or butter, sugar, umm more like cake – if it was shaped different. Calories? 400-650, 13-27 grams of fat or more! High quality protein? Virtually none.

A better substitute for breakfast? 1 pound of fresh fruit, 6-10 BioBuilde will give you less than half the calories and 100x’s the nutrition.

b.How about a fast food salad? : Could be fine, but a McDonalds Crispy Bacon Ranch Salad equals the fat, cholesterol and calories of a Big Mac! Now an organic mix of greens, with other veggies, a few pine nuts, lean protein (eggs, meat or BioBuilde) and some olive oil is a good salad.

c. If you’re going to eat soy, eat the fermented kind, tempeh, tofu, or miso. Make sure it is organic and non GMO.

d. Bagels. Most bagels are white flour and the large ones can be equivalent to 4 slices of bread. “Whole wheat” bagels are rarely more that just a little whole grain thrown in to make the claim and give the bagel an off color white. Bad choice.

e. Energy drinks? All sugar or artificial sugar, artificial color, +/-caffeine, not enough vitamins or amino acids to amount to anything. Total poison unless you’re in the middle or at the end of a long workout. At least with some tea or coffee you get some antioxidants with your caffeine to help balance things out. A better choice is Pozitive Energy. Its all good for you.

f. Diet soda. More poison. Aspartame, Splenda, etc. No good for you. And does it work to lose weight? Not a chance. Since the popularization of diet soda the obesity factor has increased many fold. In fact, there is evidence that one could claim, that diet sodas cause obesity. Skip it and have some seltzer water with a twist of lemon or lime. Chase it with 8 sprays of Pozitive Energy for a little boost.
