Chances Are Your Doctor Will Not Get the Flu Vaccine. Does He know Something You Don’t?
Flu season is coming and so are the CDC recommendations recommending that you to get one. But according to the October 28, 2006 issue of the British Medical Journal, the evidence to do so may be suspect.
Many physicians who practice holistic health understand that the body, if properly taken care of, can usually heal itself.
Others doctors approach health problems by prescribing pharmaceuticals such as antibiotics, painkillers, or vaccines that don't help ultimately improve the body's health.
What about the flu vaccine?
If you exercise, get enough sleep, sunshine, take proper supplements and eat well, your body's immune system can have the strength it needs to naturally fight off many diseases and illnesses.
The contaminants in vaccines, on the other hand, add a burden to the body's toxic load. These toxins add extra stress that your immune system has to deal with.
The Canadian Chiropractic Association even says that "vaccines prevent the body from naturally responding to external pathogens like viruses and bacteria."
Taking medications to overcome illness is a quick fix that keeps the body weak. You may find relief from a common cold with medicine one month, but the next month the same problem will recur, because your body hasn't learned to overcome it.
If you allow your body to defend itself naturally against these pathogens, your body learns how to defeat the illness and becomes stronger in the process.
When it comes to the flu vaccine, in Toronto, 65 percent of paramedics refuse the shot. 90 percent of doctors working in hospitals also refuse it.
Although many practitioners concerned about their reputations are cautious of speaking out against the flu vaccine, sometimes actions speak louder than words. Do these medical professionals know something they aren’t telling the public?
