Children and Environmental Toxins  Our children, like ourselves, are susceptible to environmental toxins. Perhaps even more so. Their bodies are smaller and they may accumulate relatively higher levels than us. It is also true that many of them have acquired toxic exposures from their mothers during gestation. Ironically, the mother's body may dump her accumulated toxins into her baby resulting in a significant load for the baby by the time they are born.
