Drugs Damaging Young Brains
"In 2005, 357 million new prescriptions were written for psychotherapeutic drugs such as Ativan, Klonipin, Paxil, Prozac, Serzone, Zoloft, Xanax and Wellbutrin, a major increase from the 168.4 million new prescriptions that were written just three years earlier, according to Wolters Kluwer Health, a data company in Parsippany, N.J."
"In addition, more and more children are taking such medication. In 1995, just 8.6 children under 13 out of 1,000 were on anti-psychotic drugs, compared to 40 out of 1,000 in 2002."
This does not include children on Ritalin and other amphetamines which are millions more. These drugs cause brain damage. In only 1 ½ to 3 years Ritalin can permanently cause 10% of the frontal lobes to disappear. This is lost brain. Its lost thinking power and lost IQ. Do you think any parent with a hyper active child would resort to using this medication if they knew this? How can this be justified? Not only that but this week was a report that over 3000 will have to go Emergency Rooms due to side effects or reactions from these drugs. Its time that parents understood what is being perpetrated on their children by medical experimentalists.
Children are simple and have simple needs. When they have them supplied they don’t need drugs. Nearly all will become well with:
1. Good nutrition-organic, no sugar, no artificial, no stimulants. Supplements to fortify their bodies.
2. Loving parents who can communicate with them and understand them.
3. Lots of outside play and exercise.
4. Minimal TV
5. A safe environment with other children and adults that respect them as people and give them the encouragement and understanding and help to reach for and achieve their goals.
6. A good physician who can help them with illness, allergy and nutrition that doesn’t use drugs and toxic immunizations that destroy their health.
