Do diet foods make you fatter?
In looking at the population expansion (in weight that is) over the past few decades it would seem that eating more “diet” foods do make people fatter. If one looks at the scene, as more diet products have come to the market, people have gotten fatter and fatter. Is there a correlation that might explain this?
A new report says that artificial sweeteners actually make people eat more because these chemicals like Nutrasweet are neurostimulants that can increase appetite.
Professor Dingle, associate professor in health and the environment at Murdoch University says “this stuff doesn't satisfy hunger like conventional food, because hunger is linked to certain texture and taste sensations. If you don't get them, you don't feel satisfied."
These chemicals aren’t foods. The body does not know what to do with them. Some of them get stored in the tissues as toxins and persist. As stimulants they can be addictive and cause the person to crave them and continue eat them. Since they stimulate appetite, the vicious cycle continues.
Better to:
1. Eat real food, organic if possible, fresh as you can get.
2. Drink pure water.
3. Take supplements like BodyHealth Complete+Detox as insurance for vits, minerals, and antioxidants.
4. Take BioBuilde for protein support.
Your health will improve for sure.
Happy eating.
