Do birth control pills make
you fat?
Rest assured, the article says that birth control pills don't make
you fat - even though many women say they do. Who is wrong? Women?
Not. But getting fat is not the real risk for birth control pills.
These pills are synthetic drugs that mimic estrogen and progesterone
in the female body to create a pseudo-pregnant state. The dangers
include blood clots and female cancers. Unwanted children are not
good either, but there are other ways to practice contraception without
putting your future health at risk.
