Mercury and autism? Is there a link? 
There is an epidemic of autism in the U.S. Nearly 1/150 infants (boys much more frequent than girls, the link below will explain why) are being diagnosed with this terrible disorder. Most of these children have very high levels of mercury in their bodies, either from maternal transfer while in utero or from childhood vaccines that contained ethyl mercury (thimerosol) as a preservative.
