(NaturalNews) In a study just published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, scientists from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) report on cats developing severe neurological symptoms due to a degradation of myelin, the fatty insulator of nerve fibers called axons. Because myelin facilitates the conduction of nerve signals, when it is lost or damaged there can be impairment of sensation, movement, thinking and other functions, depending on what particular nerves are affected. This loss of myelin is found in several disorders of the central nervous system in humans -- the best known being multiple sclerosis (MS).

Our Children are at Risk
We are in the midst of an autism epidemic. One child in 150 is being diagnosed with it. It's a tragedy of immense proportions. Last weekend while attending a fund raiser at the local YMCA to raise money for children with autism to go to summer camp, I met Danny. Danny is 15 years old. Two years ago he could not talk. He was diagnosed with autism and functioned at a three year old level. Our Treasury Secretary has taken up with Alice in Wonderland ;
The first rule of finance is don't spend more money than you make. It's one of those laws, like gravity, that if you try to violate it, you put yourself and others in jeopardy. That's always the rule that first gets broken and leads to trouble. Its true for individuals and governments. Deficit spending is a trap that leads to more taxation and more enslavement of the working man and woman. For reasons hard to fathom, our government, with our Treasury Secretary leading the charge, are pretending that this "law" does not exist (and being Alices in Wonderland). Concurrently, the same debate is going on in Britain. One of their members of Parliament, with some British in your face rhetoric, does say it right to their Prime Minister (who shares the rosy glasses of Alice in Wonderland with our treasury Secretary). Listen to what he says and if you have an opinion about this, I would love to hear it.
