Dear Readers,
Greetings!
Welcome! My trusty running partner, Annie, a chocolate lab, is always good for a 14 mile run in the 50 degree weather. This week in Florida, though, it was 85 degrees and 100% humidity. After two blocks she stopped dead in her tracks and basically told me,"Hey, too hot. I'm going home." So I took her home. Me, I love the tropical heat. So out I went for a steamy six miles by myself. When I got back, she gave me one of those, "You traitor" looks. I said, "You could have gone!" She said, "Take me to the beach, I feel like a swim." So we did. Have a great week! - D.I. Minkoff, MD
Chelation Therapy
High cholesterol, heart disease, hypertension, and poor circulation are common problems for many people. Chelation Therapy (pronounced KEE-LA-SHUN) has been used for over 30 years to treat these degenerative diseases via an intravenous infusion of a special protein called EDTA, along with essential vitamins and minerals. In effect, Chelation Therapy is a non-surgical treatment for which there is some evidence that it improves circulation and slows the aging process.

Early Television Exposure and Subsequent Attentional Problems in Children
Every added hour of watching TV increased a child's odds of having attention problems by about 10 percent. Kids watching about three hours a day were 30 percent more likely to have attention trouble than those viewing no TV. Not only that - IQ tests done on children who watch TV more than a few hours a week actually go down over a several month period. What an entertainment form!

Losing The War On Cancer!
This is a reprint from the Moss Reports. For many years, Dr. Ralph Moss was a senior member of the staff at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He was eventually dismissed from the staff because he blew the whistle on some bad press the Center was putting out on Laetrile, an anti-cancer extract from apricot pits when they knew by their own experiments that it had some benefits in treating cancer. He now has a service for people who want to find out what the real evidence is on various cancer treatments. You can purchase a report on whatever cancer you are interested in at www.cancerdecisions.com. His other site, www.ralphmoss.com, discusses many alternative cancer treatments and evidence of their value. read

Do you Still Have Your Mercury Fillings?
Here is an excellent short video that presents the scientific evidence for having them removed. It is really worth watching! When you are done, see your alternative medical doctor, have a thorough checkup to see if you are fit to have your fillings removed, and then see a Biological Dentist for an evaluation. - D.I.
