Avoid pesticides- all pesticides- as much as possible. Use natural insecticides (like boric acid for roaches and fleas) for your home, and buy organic produce as much as possible.

Get out of the area when your city sprays large areas for mosquito control.

A new study from the Harvard School of Public Health of 140,000 people showed that pesticide exposure increased the risk of Parkinson’s Disease by 70%.

Pesticides kill brain cells. In Parkinson’s Disease the cells in a very specific area of the brain have been killed and this results in the symptoms of the disease. Children with growing brains and pregnant women are the most vulnerable- but even adults need all the brain cells that they have.

Lifestyle does matter and making the right choices about these things is very important.
